Multiplayer Lobby

Basics

The Multiplayer lobby is based on XMPP and is mostly independent of all other game systems. Here is a basic diagram: Basic layout of lobby client-server architecture.

These diagrams are more complex, but should help with understanding the different client-server interactions. Detailed layout of game client-server communications. Progression of game setup. From idle in the lobby to active in game. Path which data takes from the client to the server-side database.
